You can live better, have more joy, be free of negative self-messages today. Our cultural obsession with perfection and body image damages millions of people. Our parallel consumer culture and information overload make healthy choice more difficult. You can have a life that makes it easier to be your best self. Deep down, we resent pressure to conform to someone else's standards for health and beauty. But we still want to feel beautiful and be at peace with ourselves. We know that health risks increase when we let healthy living go, or struggle but can't seem to quite get there to make it happen. Yet, weight loss and threat of ill health are negative reasons to make change, and usually don't help a person achieve long term healthy habits. Neither do blitz diets.
